The onboarding card, and the Application settings tab, now list Git (required), the agent CLIs (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor Agent, GitHub Copilot CLI; at least one needed) and the GitHub CLI (optional) as installed or missing, with an Install link to each missing tool's official page and a "Check again" button. One check_prerequisites command returns every status. It delegates to core::check_prerequisites, which reuses binary_paths::detect_binary (which on Unix, where on Windows). detect_binary_in exposes the same lookup against a given PATH for tests, and ~/.local/bin, where the Claude Code and Cursor Agent installers put their CLIs, joins the extra Unix search directories so a Finder-launched app still finds them.
