Review comments at @frontend/src/components/receiver/PairPromptDialog.tsx:
- Around line 25-26: **Add the pairing prompt members to `UseReceiverReturn`.**
`PairPromptDialog` reads `pairPrompt`, `acceptPairPrompt`, and
`dismissPairPrompt` from `useReceiverContext()`. That context is typed as
`UseReceiverReturn`, which does not declare these members. The TypeScript check
fails with TS2339, so the PR cannot pass typecheck.
No definition of these three members exists in `frontend/src`. The hook and
provider need to expose prompt state and both handlers, with the return type
updated to match.
Review comments at @frontend/src/components/receiver/Receiver.tsx:
- Line 134: **Wire the download strategy and concurrency controls through to the
transfer.**
`Receiver.tsx` reads six fields from `useReceiverContext()`: `splitStrategy`,
`setSplitStrategy`, `maxConcurrency`, `setMaxConcurrency`,
`showAdvancedOptions`, and `setShowAdvancedOptions`. `UseReceiverReturn` and the
object returned by `useReceiver` do not declare or return them. The file fails
to type-check, and the setters are `undefined` at runtime. Clicking the
advanced-options toggle at line 115 throws when that toggle is rendered.
The selected values also never reach the transfer. `handleReceive` calls
`receiveWithTicket(ticket)` with no options, and the `receive_file` invoke sends
no split or concurrency value. The Rust command `receive_file`
(`src-tauri/src/commands.rs:449`) and `ReceiveOptions`
(`engine/protocol/src/types.rs:29`) have no matching parameters, so every
transfer uses the backend default.
Add the state to `useReceiver` and pass it to the invoke:

+ setMaxConcurrency: Dispatch<SetStateAction<number | null>>

...
}
```
```diff
+ const [splitStrategy, setSplitStrategy] = useState<SplitStrategy>('none')

```
```diff

```
```diff

relay: getRelayConfigArg(),
discovery: getDiscoveryConfigArg(),
})
```
```diff
- [previewMetadata, showAlert, t]
+ [previewMetadata, showAlert, t, splitStrategy, maxConcurrency]
```
</details>
The dependency array change is required. Without it, `receiveWithTicket` keeps
the values from its first render.
The backend must also change. Add `split_strategy` and `max_concurrency`
parameters to `receive_file`, and carry them into `ReceiveOptions`. The download
call at `src-tauri/src/commands.rs:567` receives only `ReceiveOptions`. The
repository has no existing split or concurrency mechanism in its Rust code, so
the download implementation must define how these values apply.
Review comments at @frontend/src/hooks/usePairing.ts:
- Line 196: **Remove the call to `clearDismissedPairPrompt`, or add that method
to the store first.**
`useAppSettingStore` does not define `clearDismissedPairPrompt`. The
`AppSettings` type does not declare it, so TypeScript reports an unknown
property. At runtime, the call throws a `TypeError` after `forgetPairedDevice`
succeeds. `hydrate()` is then skipped, and the success toast in
`devices-settings.tsx` does not run.
<details>
<summary>🐛 Suggested fix</summary>
```diff
async (endpointId: string) => {
await forgetPairedDevice(endpointId)
- // Forget means "we may be asked to pair again", not "never prompt".
- useAppSettingStore.getState().clearDismissedPairPrompt(endpointId)
await hydrate()
},
```
If the forget flow must clear a dismissed-prompt flag, add that state field and
its setter to `AppSettingsState` and `AppSettingsActions` in
`frontend/src/store/app-setting.ts` first. Then restore the call.
Review comments at @frontend/src/lib/pairing-api.ts:
- Around line 280-281: **Implement the `respond_pair_request` Tauri command and
register it.**
`respondPairRequest` invokes `respond_pair_request`, but no Rust command with
that name exists, and the invoke handler in `src-tauri/src/lib.rs` does not
register it. Both the accept and decline paths in `NearbyPairRequestDialog.tsx`
call this function. The invoke fails, the dialog shows the error, and the
pairing request stays unanswered. Add a `#[tauri::command]` named
`respond_pair_request` that takes `endpoint_id`, `session_id`, and `accept`.
Register it in the `generate_handler!` list with the same `cfg` as
`respond_nearby_invite`.
Walkthrough
The pull request adds response handling for nearby pairing requests, a receiver pairing-prompt dialog, and non-web controls for download strategy and concurrency. Forgetting a paired device also clears its dismissed-prompt state.
The dialog sends accept and decline responses with the endpoint ID and session ID. It closes after a successful response and remains open with an error after a failed response.
Pairing prompt and dismissal state frontend/src/components/receiver/PairPromptDialog.tsx, frontend/src/hooks/usePairing.ts
The new prompt dialog supports accept, decline, and retry after a failed accept. Forgetting a paired device clears its dismissed-prompt state.
On non-web platforms, the receiver form offers sequential or parallel downloads. Parallel mode displays a concurrency slider from 2 to 32.
Add the pairing prompt members to UseReceiverReturn.
Remove the call to clearDismissedPairPrompt, or add that method to the store first.
Implement the respond_pair_request Tauri command and register it.
respondPairRequest invokes respond_pair_request, but no Rust command with that name exists, and the invoke handler in src-tauri/src/lib.rs does not register it. Both the accept and decline paths in NearbyPairRequestDialog.tsx call this function. The invoke fails, the dialog shows the error, and the pairing request stays unanswered. Add a #[tauri::command] named respond_pair_request that takes endpoint_id, session_id, and accept. Register it in the generate_handler! list with the same cfg as respond_nearby_invite.
