mesh-gradient, silk-gradient, noise-flow, metaballs, grain-dither — ordinary background-domain shader graphs built by tools/backgrounds/build.cjs (--check verifies the committed files). CC0. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
… (core 65 gradient) ember-ribbon, violet-orb, mint-tide, glass-orbit, night-swell, indigo-bloom, deep-space, tangerine-sea: each a two-node background graph (the core's Gradient lab node into the Background output), covering the ribbon, sphere and water shapes. Parameter sets adapted from ShaderGradient's presets (MIT © ruucm, stone-skipper) and renamed; backgrounds/ATTRIBUTION.md + README carry the notice. Index rows gain optional family / needs / license / attribution (additive within format 1: core drops a row whose `needs` its catalog lacks). Generated by tools/backgrounds/build.cjs (--check clean); the five fluid presets are byte-identical. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>

Gradient family: eight ShaderGradient-style backgrounds (core roadmap 65, lane 65-gradient)
Stacked on #20. This branch is off
feat/65-visuals, so until #20 merges this PR also shows its commit (e27d4e8). Merge #20 first. This PR's own change is 259ea68.backgrounds/: 8 presets drawn by the coregradientLabnode: ember-ribbon (ribbon), violet-orb, glass-orbit, indigo-bloom, mint-tide, night-swell, deep-space, tangerine-sea.family: "Gradient"andneeds: ["gradientLab"]. A core build without the node drops these rows, so older apps are unaffected.license: MIT+ attribution on each row.backgrounds/ATTRIBUTION.mdkeeps the ShaderGradient MIT notice (© ruucm, stone-skipper) and the webgl-noise notice. Two README lines.tools/backgrounds/build.cjsgenerates them (LAB_DEFAULTS + GRADIENTS).node tools/backgrounds/build.cjs --checkis clean, and the five fluid files are unchanged.Proof: core
tests/e2e/gradient-lab.test.cjsserves these files by route and applies every preset through the app's loader (ALL PASS). Corebackground-presetspasses 81/81 against this checkout. After merge: retag packs (format 1) and purge jsDelivr, then check the content of every changed file.
