nsqd pods cache filling up - can't seem to configure to avoid.

I've set the mem as high as 2.5G and varied cpu from 50-400m and the cache on the nsqd pods always seems to fill up.
Seems like a memory leak.
I'm happy to work through any troubleshooting needed.

K8s version: 1.17.9
