Hi Superdesign team,
I have installed and connected Superdesign to both Codex and ChatGPT Work Mode. The Superdesign plugin appears available in ChatGPT, and I can select or mention it, but ChatGPT cannot successfully send design instructions to Superdesign.
When the connection was checked through Codex, the Superdesign CLI returned:
auth: not authenticated — run superdesign login to connect
Codex then attempted:
npx --yes @superdesign/cli@latest login
But the login failed with:
Login failed
timeout of 30000ms exceeded
The confusing part is that Superdesign appears installed and connected in the ChatGPT interface, but its CLI authentication is not active. As a result, prompts such as “continue designing the Nemi experience” cannot reach or operate Superdesign.
Could you please advise:
Whether ChatGPT and the Superdesign CLI require separate authentication.
How I can reconnect or refresh the authentication.
Whether there is a known issue with authentication timing out from ChatGPT Work Mode or Codex.
How I can verify that ChatGPT can successfully send instructions to my existing Superdesign projects.
