I build software on open protocols. I take specs like OCPP and Nostr and turn them into things people can use: libraries and SDKs for developers, tools for the engineers running real systems, and apps for end users. I work end to end, from the protocol layer to full-stack products in TypeScript and React.

Highlights

  • Built OCPP DebugKit, open-source DevTools for EV-charging sessions: a TypeScript toolkit (CLI, web inspector, CI) with 3,000+ npm downloads across 30+ releases, plus a native desktop app that captures live charger traffic.
  • Started Open OCPP Trace with maintainers from the OCPP open-source community: a vendor-neutral format for recording OCPP traffic, with a JSON Schema and a 15-fixture conformance suite.
  • Wrote the OCPP Handbook, a free 18-module course on EV-charging software, from the hardware up to reading raw OCPP frames.
  • Built zig-nostr, the Nostr protocol in native Zig: a protocol library, a desktop client, a key signer, and a CLI, shipped across 100+ tagged releases. Feed queries run in about 0.28 ms from a local store.
  • Created nostr-hooks (18,000+ npm downloads) and create-osty (6,000+), a React library and project scaffolder for building Nostr apps, plus apps like Pinstr and Nostribe.
  • Building ProductCue, which turns public market evidence (reviews, complaints, pricing friction) into prioritized build briefs.
