Summary
Automated base-image maintenance for branch
release-2.1.This PR was opened by the rhdh-base-images skill
(
base-images-and-rpms.sh), a governed, AI-assisted automation pipelinethat keeps UBI
FROMbumps in lockstep withrpms.lock.yaml, Node headers(
.nvmrc/node-v*-headers.tar.gz), operatorgo.mod(main),plugin-catalog builder pins, and overlays
versions.jsonnodewhen thosecheckouts are in scope.
Agentic SDLC
This change is part of an agentic SDLC path for platform hygiene: an
AI coding skill (
rhdh-base-images) encodes the playbook that humanspreviously ran by hand, so dependency drift (base image → RPM → Node/Go) is
closed in one automergeable PR instead of staggered bot PRs. The skill is
reviewed and executed with explicit checkouts — governed, AI-assisted
automation that augments the software delivery lifecycle with repeatable,
auditable automation rather than replacing human merge judgment
(
lgtm/approvedstill apply).See the skill README: https://github.com/redhat-developer/rhdh-skills/blob/main/skills/ci/rhdh-base-images/SKILL.md
