Absolute Johannes factotum

SCP-7558 (?)
SCP-7558 was a device created by a secret organization in 1951 to make backup copies of important documents by sending them to a supposedly stable pocket universe. The idea was to protect these records from major changes to reality. However, it was later discovered that the device was flawed; instead of always accessing the same pocket universe, it would create a new one each time reality changed, leading to 29 different pocket universes, each containing slightly different versions of the organization's history. This meant the device failed to detect any reality-altering events because it simply adapted by creating a new backup location, leading the organization to believe no such events had occurred. Consequently, the device was taken apart and replaced with a more reliable backup system.
Christmas Price Index (?)
The Christmas Price Index is a lighthearted economic indicator created by PNC Wealth Management that tracks the cost of all the gifts mentioned in the carol "The Twelve Days of Christmas." It calculates two figures: the "Christmas Price Index" for buying each item once, and "The True Cost of Christmas" for purchasing all 364 items as they are repeated throughout the song. This index, while humorous, reflects economic trends like the rising cost of services versus goods, similar to more traditional economic indicators.
