The repository still contains the original 2023 logo.jpg, so the updated branding supplied with this issue has not yet been applied. The README is the only direct repository reference to that file and currently uses the repository’s former connected-systems URL, which still redirects but should be replaced with a relative reference. Issue #168 can reuse the approved logo as its representative image, although the Developer site update can proceed separately.

I recommend a small PR that replaces logo.jpg with the supplied 2026 JPEG, adds the supplied SVG as the preferred scalable version, and updates the README to reference the repository asset directly. The rendered README and both image formats should be checked before the PR is merged, after which this issue can be closed. @kstegemoller, @alexrobin, @TuckerGeoTech, and @ghobona, please review this recommendation and confirm the supplied variants are the approved assets before an upcoming SWG meeting so the group can consider the feedback and work toward resolving and closing this issue.
