Mario Lemos Quirino Neto

Brazilian Medical Student | Future Anesthesiologist | Medical App Builder | Cybersecurity Explorer

About Me

I am a Brazilian medical student preparing for a future in anesthesiology, with a deep interest in using programming to build practical, secure, and thoughtful tools for medicine.

My technical background includes over five years of Python, two years of Next.js, and additional experience with Swift, Node.js, TypeScript, cloud platforms, automation, and cybersecurity. I enjoy applying those skills to medical applications, clinical workflows, AI-assisted tools, and software that makes complex systems easier to understand and use.

Outside of medicine, I like exploring cybersecurity, building apps for web and mobile platforms, experimenting with automation, and contributing to open-source projects that help people learn, create, and solve real problems.

Current Focus

My current focus is the intersection of medicine, software, and security. This includes:

  • Building medical and healthcare-oriented applications with Python, Next.js, TypeScript, and Swift.
  • Exploring how AI-assisted tools can support learning, clinical reasoning, documentation, and safer workflows.
  • Designing full-stack apps for web and mobile platforms with accessible, reliable user experiences.
  • Practicing cybersecurity through network hardening, secure architecture, and responsible exploration.
  • Learning more about anesthesiology, perioperative care, physiology, pharmacology, and patient safety.
  • Contributing to open-source projects and sharing tools that may be useful to other developers, students, and healthcare learners.

Technical Expertise

Programming and Frameworks: Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Next.js, React, Node.js, Swift, Bash.
Cloud and DevOps: AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda), Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, Cloudflare Workers, Docker, Terraform, GitHub Actions, CI/CD.
Systems Administration: Linux (Ubuntu, Debian), Windows Server, virtualization (Proxmox), VPNs, firewalls, and identity management (SSO, SCIM).
Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite, Firebase, Kafka, Redis.
Security: Network hardening, incident response, encryption protocols, access management, and Zero-Trust architecture.
AI and Automation: LLM integration (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini), prompt engineering, AI-based refactoring, and automated code analysis.

Featured Projects

Custom Cloudflare Error Pages
A modern collection of responsive, accessible, and performance-optimized error pages for Cloudflare. It includes automatic R2 synchronization via GitHub Actions, inline critical CSS, and Glassmorphism UI design.

Reverse Machine
An open-source JavaScript deobfuscation tool powered by AI. It uses AST-level transformations, contextual variable renaming, and multi-model (OpenAI, Gemini, Claude) integration to produce human-readable, semantically equivalent code.

Resend Email Bridge
An SMTP and Cloudflare Workers bridge that integrates Apple Mail with Resend's email service. It features end-to-end encryption, structured logging, retry mechanisms, and health monitoring for reliable delivery.
