Welcome to Loqui, another project that my brain randomly decided to start working on. ‎

Loqui is a personal project built purely out of curiosity and my interest in understanding how chat applications actually work behind the scenes.

The goal is not to create another mainstream chat platform or replace existing alternatives:

• No, Loqui is not intended to become a replacement for Nerimity or similar projects. ‎

Loqui is still in early development. The current frontend UI mainly exists as a way to test and showcase the backend functionality. Expect things to change, break, or be redesigned over time.

The name Loqui comes from Latin and means "to speak".
