worflow figure in svg?

@koudyk could you add the figure as a svg file rather than pg so that it looks sharp and the links are clickable and the text is selectable? thank you!!

I changed it to an svg, but I can't figure out how to make the links clickable and the text selectable

I worked on it a bit, and now you can click and select the text, but only when you open the figure in a new window

I got it to work by including the svg code in an html version of the index.

There's still a slight problem: the clickable areas are bigger than the text. I had to manually edit the svg code to get the text in the correct places; that might be related to this problem.

otherwise it's also perfectly fine if there are no clickable links in the figure but in that case we can make them look less like links (some of the text is bold & blue which is often a hint to click on it). the links will also be in the main text so it's not a problem if there are no links in the figure as long as the non-link text doesn't look like links

editing the text in html rather than markdown is not a good option so I'm reverting those changes for now, but I kept the embedded svg version in the workflow_figure_in_html_index branch. when we start adding templates to define a bit the appearance of the page we can put the svg in a partial and include it in the index page if we want!

sorry for bothering you with this @koudyk -- I thought the original figure was already an svg and that this would only entail replacing the image file :/
