Expedition Tiny Aya (March 2026)
Language, Decoded: Exploring the Impact of Fine-Tuning a Multilingual Model on Native-Language Code. A 2-week research hackathon in collaboration with Cohere's Expedition Tiny Aya, testing whether fine-tuning a multilingual model on transpiled and natively-written code in target languages improves the model's reasoning, world knowledge, and instruction following in those languages. Paper submitted 2026-05-26.
