⚠️ Cannot Adopt ESLint 10 Yet — Ecosystem Incompatibility

This PR fails CI because eslint-config-next v16.2.10 does not support ESLint 10.

Root Cause

The eslint-config-next package currently declares peer dependencies:

"eslint": "^7.23.0 || ^8.0.0"

This explicitly excludes ESLint v9 and v10. Attempting to use ESLint 10 results in unmet peer dependency errors and breaking changes in the ESLint plugin ecosystem.

What's Needed

Recommendation

Place this PR on hold until the Next.js ecosystem catches up with ESLint 10. This is not a code fix — it's an ecosystem compatibility blocker.
