I was quite confused when looking at the part list, specifically for what a collet is for. That and I think there are some parts missing, including a timing pully that drives the rotational axis. I have also acquired everything else for the printer and am super excited to put this thing together when my library is done printing the frame, and my fly board comes in; thanks for open sourcing the project!

Side note, I have no experience with soldering and was wondering how you would recommend going about the heated bed? I have already had JLPCB print it, but I don't know where I should start with getting electrical components sourced/assembled.

You may find it helpful to take a look at the more complete parts list found in Issue #4. The "collet" listed on the main repository page is more commonly referred to as a Shaft Collar or Retaining Ring (3rd from bottom of proposed BOM in issue #4) and is used to secure the extruder mount to the B axis shaft - see red component below.

Although not specific to your sourcing/assembling question, a search for "Heated Bed" in the Issues and Discussions sections of the repository may be a useful exercise to see what others have done.
