I build the instrument, then I play it.

Software engineer, novelist, and artist.

One obsession runs under all of it: the constant urge to tinker, to learn, to build. Hand me a tool I've never touched or a problem I don't yet understand, and I'll take it apart, learn how it works, and make something with it. The medium keeps changing — pixels, prose, whole systems — the itch never does. The engineering taught me how to build a machine; the art taught me what to build it for.

The instruments I've built

  • my-nft-gen — a generative art engine I wrote by hand and refined over years. It renders infinite, seamless animated loops
  • Novel Engine — a desktop studio that runs seven specialized AI editors as a coordinated crew, locally, so the manuscript and the copyright stay the author's.
  • loop-me — Endless looping generative art in a single page — randomize, tweak, and share the whole composition as a URL. No build, no deps, no backend.

I don't use AI the way a passenger uses a car — I architect it, and I keep my hand on the wheel. Multiply the intent; never replace the judgment.

The work itself

I solve problems. Hand me an ambiguous, high-stakes thing that has to get built and shipped — a product, a culture, a novel, a body of work — and I'll build the instrument, gather the crew, and play it through to the end.
