Gustavo Torres

Full-stack engineer based in Florianópolis, Brazil. I build web applications end-to-end, from architecture and backend to polished, performant UIs.

What I'm working with

Core: TypeScript, Next.js, NestJS, PostgreSQL, Docker
Web3: Solidity, on-chain data, Ethereum and Solana ecosystem

A few things I've built

  • LBP Simulator — live production app at Balancer. Simulates token launch price curves over time, with real-time 10k+ point charts running in Web Workers at 60fps
  • Excalibuddy - I love to use Excalidraw, but building the diagram from scratch feels a little to much work sometimes. If you feel something like that, Excalibuddy is your dude for it.
  • Financial Assistant — personal finance app with CSV bank import, spending dashboards, and an AI assistant for insights

Background

Before going deep on engineering, I spent time as a technical lead across 10 concurrent projects, defining stacks, architecture, and mentoring junior devs. That context makes me think about code differently.
