git clone https://github.com/marcopalena/polito-os161-docker
cd polito-os161-docker-main
docker build -t os161 .In this case the name of the image is os161
This command crates a volume named os161-vol
docker volume create os161-volYou can check all your volumes by running
docker volume listRun the container mounting the volume os161-vol as the home folder of user enf. Make sure to to change os161 with the name of your image
docker run --volume os161-vol:/home/enf --name os161 -itd os161 /bin/bashIf everything went well, you should see it by running
docker psError response from daemon: failed to create endpoint (...) on network bridge: failed to add the host (...) <=> sandbox (...) pair interfaces: operation not supported
In my case, the error appears every time I update my Linux kernel. It disappears when I restart the computer. I am using Arch Linux.
Move the folder ./os161/os161/.vscode in its parent directory ./os161/.vscode.
If you just used docker for OS161, you can run this command safely
docker prune -a
