Provide selectable, provider-neutral workstation and repository integrations for GitHub MCP, VS Code, Spec Kit, OpenCode, ZenFlow, Claude, Ollama, and future approved tools.

Scope

• Implement the work owned by egohygiene/empathy that is necessary to deliver this outcome.
• Coordinate cross-repository work through the dependencies below; do not copy sibling implementations into this repository.
• Keep unrelated refactors, mutable cross-repository source dependencies, and secret material outside this issue.

Acceptance criteria

• Define a minimal default and explicit opt-in profiles
• Keep secrets and user-specific credentials outside repository content
• Consume Aether projections rather than duplicating canonical artifacts
• Validate Linux, macOS, Windows-compatible shells, and devcontainers where applicable
