💰 [platform] Setup Patreon and integrate with GitHub funding #4

Description

@szmyty

Context

Establish Patreon as an additional funding channel and integrate it with GitHub via FUNDING.yml.

This expands monetization beyond GitHub Sponsors and enables:

  • tiered support
  • recurring subscriptions
  • community engagement

Goals

  • Create Patreon account aligned with Ego Hygiene / personal brand
  • Define sustainable support tiers
  • Integrate Patreon into GitHub funding system
  • Ensure consistent messaging across platforms

Scope

Phase 1 — Patreon Setup

  • Create Patreon account
  • Define branding:
    • name (Ego Hygiene vs personal vs hybrid)
    • description
    • visuals (logo, banner)
  • Configure payout settings

Phase 2 — Tier Design

  • Define support tiers (e.g.):
    • supporter
    • contributor
    • collaborator
  • Define benefits:
    • early access
    • behind-the-scenes content
    • system breakdowns
    • exclusive tools (future)

Phase 3 — GitHub Integration

  • Add Patreon username to:
    • egohygiene/.github/FUNDING.yml
    • szmyty/.github/FUNDING.yml
  • Verify Patreon appears in Sponsor button

Phase 4 — Messaging Alignment

  • Align messaging across:
    • GitHub Sponsors
    • Patreon
    • profile README
    • egohygiene.io (future)
  • Ensure consistent narrative:
    • platform support
    • creative systems
    • open source + personal growth

Acceptance Criteria

  • Patreon account is live
  • At least 2–3 tiers defined
  • Patreon linked in FUNDING.yml
  • Sponsor button displays Patreon option
  • Messaging is consistent across platforms

Notes

This contributes to:

💰 Multi-channel funding system
