- Line 192: Update resolveDirectoryPath() to recognize drive-prefixed paths
followed by a slash or backslash as absolute, while preserving the existing
behavior for Unix absolute paths and relative paths. Do not treat drive-prefixed
paths as absolute on Linux or macOS, where they remain relative names.

…n absolute path in any platform's form is kept.
Closes #1108
Summary
DrupalBackendProvidernow resolvesdrupal.drupal_rootanddrush.rootto their real paths at container build, through the newresolveDirectoryPath(), while the working directory is still the one Behat runs in.resolveBinaryPath()resolves a baredrushto the project's Drush at the same point, checkingCOMPOSER_BIN_DIRand thenvendor/bin/drush.Since the
drupalanddrushbackend services became lazy, a backend's constructor runs the first time a scenario uses it.Core::bootstrap()changes the working directory to the Drupal root, so when a scenario useddrupalbeforedrush, the Drush constructor resolved a relativeroot: webfrom inside the Drupal root. That pointed atweb/weband threwNo Drupal installation found at web.A baredrushbinary had the same problem, because the constructor probedvendor/bin/drushin whatever directory was current. The repository's ownbehat.phpsetsroot: web, and CI passed only because its scenarios happened to build the Drush backend first. After merge, a relative
drush.root, a relativedrupal.drupal_rootand a baredrushresolve against the directory Behat runs in, whichever backend a run uses first. That's the behavior the configuration reference already describes. An absolute path keeps its platform's form, a root that doesn't exist reaches the backend as configured and fails with the same message as before, and avendor/bin/drushpath thatresolveBinaryPath()already made absolute is unchanged. Before / After

Path resolution
DrupalBackendProvider::resolveDirectoryPath()returns the real path of a directory, resolving a relative one against the working directory. A directory that doesn't exist is returned as configured, so the backend rejects it with its own message.realpath()keeps an absolute path in its platform's form, so a Windows drive path such asC:\project\webisn't joined to the working directory.loadDrupal()andloadDrush()passdrupal_rootandrootthrough it.DrupalBackendProvider::resolveBinaryPath()resolves a baredrushthroughCOMPOSER_BIN_DIR, thenvendor/bin/drushin the working directory. It falls back todrushfor thePATH. A relativeCOMPOSER_BIN_DIRis resolved too, since Composer allows one. Any other bare command is still returned as-is.drush.rootoption description now says a relative path resolves against the directory Behat runs in, matchingdrupal_root.docs/content/guides/configuration-reference.mdis regenerated from it.Tests
DrupalBackendProviderTest:root: web, changes intowebas the bootstrap does, then uses the backend and checks its root.resolveDirectoryPath()with a relative, a dot-segment, an absolute, a missing and a Windows drive directory.drushfound in the project, a baredrushfound through an absolute or a relativeCOMPOSER_BIN_DIR, and a bare command left to thePATH.setUp()andtearDown()save and restoreCOMPOSER_BIN_DIRfor those cases.webpath, so they don't depend on the directory the suite runs in.BehatStepsExtensionTestchecks that the roots reach the container throughresolveDirectoryPath().
