Publish the virtio-media-ffmpeg-decoder device crate

Are there plans to publish the virtio-media-ffmpeg-decoder crate to crates.io?

rust-vmm's vhost-device-media depends on this crate. I would like to package vhost-device-media for Fedora, and to avoid having to vendor virtio-media into the RPM, it would be helpful to have it published on crates.io first. I am happy to take care of packaging it for Fedora once it is available there, but the crates.io publishing would need to be handled by the maintainers here.

True. My bad. Confusion came from the fact that the crates.io version could not be used because ffmpeg-decoder is not published and depends on the upstream version, which made me use git branch to avoid type mismatch.

I saw that (after a long time of the change) and assumed that the virtio-media crate was not available, and hence opened this issue.
However, the same problem is extensible to virtio-media-ffmpeg-decoder not being available on crates.io, which prevents publishing. I will update the title.

I would like to know if there are plans for publishing the ffmpeg-decoder or else I think I will remove it from rust-vmm's backend. After that question is addressed this issue can be closed.
