Authority

  • Active specification / task IDs: Documentation-only; no active product specification.
  • Canonical base revision: 86ad90e97d9addfc0e7125a9753e1da6fb838005.
  • Why this change is authorized: repository professionalism/documentation reconciliation requested by the maintainer after Specification 027 canonical closure. This does not select Specification 028 or authorize product behavior.

Outcome

Make the public repository state internally consistent and easier for contributors and organizations to evaluate without changing product behavior.

Scope

In scope:

  • reconcile specs/CURRENT.md, roadmap, and execution master plan with realized POST_027_OBSERVATION truth;
  • bring CHANGELOG.md Unreleased coverage through Specifications 022–027;
  • strengthen the PR template around authority, evidence, scope, and release claims;
  • add SUPPORT.md and issue-chooser routing for security/support guidance.

Out of scope:

  • src/ or test behavior;
  • workflows, dependencies, package metadata, versioning, tags, releases, or provider/executor integration;
  • successor product specification selection.

Changed paths: 7 documentation/community files only.

Verification

  • exact branch head: f996226046e619dde925e8a610414ebc468745fa
  • push CI: 34169304884 = completed/success
  • permanent matrix: Ubuntu Python 3.11/3.12/3.13, macOS Python 3.11, Windows Python 3.11 = success
  • full regression, Ruff, compile, source/built-wheel CLI smoke, package build, and tracked-tree cleanliness all passed in the configured CI chain.

Risk and recovery

Risk is limited to documentation/community guidance becoming inaccurate. Recovery is a bounded revert of this documentation-only merge.

Provenance

None. No external code or adapted content is introduced.

Summary by cubic

Reconciles the public repository documentation with the post-Specification-027 canonical state so contributors and evaluators aren't misled by stale frontier prose. This is documentation-only; no product behavior, source, dependencies, or release artifacts change.

  • Marks Specifications 000-027 CLOSED_CANONICAL and program state POST_027_OBSERVATION in specs/CURRENT.md, docs/roadmap.md, and docs/execution-master-plan.md.
  • Brings CHANGELOG.md Unreleased coverage through Specifications 022-027 and clarifies that current main capabilities don't imply a newer release than v0.3.0.
  • Strengthens the PR template with authority, evidence, scope, and verification requirements.
  • Adds SUPPORT.md with supported-surface and issue-routing guidance, plus security contact links in the issue chooser.

Written for commit f996226. Summary will update on new commits.
