Problem
Which problem is this feature request solving?
Cannot map Main Stick to LS or RS when using real analog sticks as well.
Solution
Two possible solutions.
-
Allow swapping, so when the main stick is mapped to LS or RS, the real analog LS and RS will behave as Dpad instead, so no need to have multiple analog inputs as the stick will now behave as a digital input. Seems clean and useful for most people.
-
Allow to disable real analog sticks individually, leaving room to remap the main stick to the disabled stick.
This is not as nice as swapping, but it works for my use case (mappable LSstick/Dpad with permanent RS stick).
This does have one advantage over swapping and it is that you can still keep one of the inputs as a Button only input, which you couldn't do with swapping. So I could have the LS button without the stick, but the RS stick as a real analog at the same time.
I tested assigning LS pins to "None" but this still did not allow the main stick to work when set to LS.
Do you plan to work on this feature yourself?
If I could, I would. Not in the near future.
