Canonical decision operating system for rights-constrained, ripple-aware ethical governance, AI alignment, institutional decision-making, and high-consequence choice.
Current release: MathGov Core v11.4 Final Complete Ready
Release date: 2026-07-02
Release path: releases/v11.4_2026_07_02/
GitHub release: v11.4_2026_07_02
MathGov is an open ethical-governance framework using the RippleLogic decision architecture.
It is presented not as ownership of a final answer, but as a proposed formalization of recurring principles of flourishing governance, drawn from ethics, systems science, democratic theory, rights protection, ecology, AI alignment, risk governance, and lived human experience.
RippleLogic is a rights-constrained, tail-risk-aware, structurally viable, auditable decision architecture for governance, AI alignment, institutional decision-making, and high-consequence choice.
MathGov is offered as a civic instrument for public use, pressure-testing, replication, improvement, and correction.
We are not owners of the compass. We are brush-holders at the excavation site.
A framework that asks power to submit to audit must submit to audit itself.
Reality Grounding → Rights Floor → TRC → CSV → RLS
Where:
- Reality Grounding verifies contact with the real situation, evidence, constraints, uncertainty, and category choice.
- Rights Floor prevents optimization from overriding protected rights.
- TRC, the Tail-Risk Constraint, bounds catastrophic and irreversible downside risk before benefit scoring.
- CSV, Core Structure Viability, checks whether the action preserves the basic structures needed for life, agency, trust, governance, and long-term flourishing.
- RLS, RippleLogic Scoring, evaluates multi-level ripple effects after the prior constraints are satisfied.
Plain-language version:
- Ground reality.
- Protect rights.
- Bound ruin.
- Preserve the structure.
- Score the ripples.
A high benefit score cannot compensate for a failed Rights Floor, failed tail-risk constraint, or failed core-structure viability check.

This is a Tier 1-3 source/framework release for public review, controlled external review, teaching, implementation study, and tooling development.
It does not claim empirical validation, legal certification, deployment certification, ProofPack readiness, reference-calculator status, automated moral truth, solved AI alignment, or Tier 4 readiness.
Architecture-final is not ProofPack-final.
This release is a stable foundation for validation, tooling, pilots, independent critique, replayable evidence, and future machine-readable assurance.
RippleLogic is the MathGov decision engine.
It evaluates candidate actions through a strict five-stage method:
- Reality Grounding
- Rights Floor
- Tail-Risk Constraint
- Core Structure Viability
- RippleLogic Scoring
In formal shorthand:
RG → RF → TRC → CSV → RLS
The central discipline is sequencing.
Reality, rights, catastrophic risk, and structural viability are checked before final benefit scoring. This prevents a system from using attractive aggregate outcomes to hide rights violations, catastrophic risk, or damage to the conditions that make flourishing possible.
Reality Grounding
MathGov defines reality, for decision-making, as the evaluator-independent field of constrained structures that, under transition, produce consequences.
A decision never captures the whole territory. It captures a reality surface. Evidence is traceable contact with that surface. Claims must remain inside the boundary of that contact. Where the surface is insufficient for a material claim, the system must narrow, escalate, handle conservatively, or refuse.
Public teaching line:
Reality is the territory. Structure is its arrangement. Constraint is its law. Consequence is its answer. Evidence is our contact. Ethics is how we act without pretending the surface is the whole.
Category Grounding and Primitive Audit are required subdisciplines of Reality Grounding when category choice materially affects rights, tail risk, core-structure viability, SGP interpretation, authority, conformance, or public claims.
MathGov System Stack
MathGov is the broader ethical operating-system architecture.
RippleLogic is its decision engine.
SGP, the Sentience Gradient Protocol, is its moral-status and protection protocol.
The context system supports traceability, continuity, and implementation clarity.
The agent system supports AI and hybrid agent governance where included.
The Aligners Sheet is a worked-run exemplar and implementation aid, not a certification instrument.
Claim Boundary
This repository currently provides a Tier 1-3 framework specification and synchronized companion package.
It does not claim:
Tier 4 readiness
ProofPack completeness
empirical validation
legal-compliance certification
deployment-readiness certification
machine-verifiable ecosystem completeness
completed biological SGP measurement
current-AI sentience
solved AI alignment
deterministic framework selection for non-decisive runs
automated moral truth
The next phase is not stronger claims.
It is stronger evidence.
Next Phase
Future work includes:
ProofPack schemas
reference calculator
machine-readable test vectors
semantic validator
independent replay evidence
pilot and shadow-mode runs
biological and digital SGP annexes
public critique and review
tooling for Decision Notes, PCC records, and audit trails
