Sora is OpenAI’s new video generation model (announced 2025-05-02) that can create realistic and imaginative video scenes based on natural language input. It is currently in preview and accessible through Azure OpenAI.
The Azure OpenAI platform provides official documentation support to facilitate integration. Users can now access Sora alongside other models using Azure’s standard API infrastructure.
Proposed Integration:
- Add Sora as a model option in LibreChat when the Azure provider is selected.
- Introduce a dedicated interface or agent type for video generation prompts.
- Allow users to input natural language descriptions and receive generated video previews in chat.
Benefits:
- Adds cutting-edge multimodal generation capability to LibreChat.
