Adds a CLAUDE.md at the repo root: a short guide for Claude Code sessions working in this repository.

It covers:

• Commands. PHPUnit (the full suite, a single test or file, coverage) and the lint, lint:fix and lint:min-php Composer scripts. It notes that the Makefile targets are stale.
• Constraints. PHP 7.1–8.5 compatibility (no typed properties, arrow functions, match, union types or constructor promotion), tab indentation, tests extending QueryPathTests\TestCase with the yoast polyfill method names, output buffering under beStrictAboutOutputDuringTests, and the CHANGELOG-plus-test expectation from CONTRIBUTING.md.
• Architecture. The qp()/htmlqp()/html5qp() entry points, the DOM/DOMQuery split across the src/Helpers/ traits, and the inst() chaining semantics. It also covers the extension registry and the other pieces of src/.
• The selector engine as it stands after Select with DOMTraverser in remove() and replaceAll() #127–Return traversal results in jQuery's order #130. DOMTraverser is the only engine in use. find() searches descendants; DOMTraverser::filterNodes(), wrapped by Helpers\NodeMatcher, tests the nodes in hand. The legacy QueryPathEventHandler is deprecated and no longer called. The sibling and ancestor traversals go through walk() and are put in jQuery's order.

Documentation only: no code or test changes, and no CHANGELOG entry.
