Gizz Tapes

A Open Source King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard music player, utilizing the Gizz Tapes API.

Installation

We highly recommend using Obtainium to install this app and to keep it up to date!

Steps:

1. Install Obtainium,

2. Tap "Add App"

3. Paste https://github.com/Ghost-Applications/gizz-tapes/releases into App Srouce URL

4. Tap add

5. Choose FOSS or FULL, Full supports casting, and if your unsure which you want, you probably want the full version.

6. Tap the Install button

Building

Setup

This project uses mise to manage Java 21 and Ruby (for Fastlane).

Install mise, then run:

mise install

This will install the correct Java and Ruby versions automatically.

Tasks

mise run test            # Run tests and static analysis
mise run build           # Build release and debug artifacts
mise run build-debug     # Assemble a debug APK
mise run install-debug   # Install a debug APK on a connected device
mise run release         # Release via Fastlane

Build Scans

Add systemProp.GIZZ_TAPES_ACCEPT_BUILD_SCAN_AGREEMENT=yes gradle.properties to enable build scans on every build.
