install.shandinstall.ps1downloaded and executed release artifacts without verifying their published.sha256, so a tampered or corrupted asset would be installed silently.Both installers now download the checksum sidecar and abort on mismatch.
Verified:
bash -n scripts/install.shpasses and the checksum extraction logic is correct.
