The seed

Two projects carry the name ENTHEA. They were seeded together — the same
vision, the same philosophy — and the loop is now ready to close.

enthea (this repo, 8b-is) — the engine door. One pure-stdlib Go binary:
MCP servers, constellation personas, wire into any OSS client (opencode,
Charm). macOS · Linux · NixOS · Windows. Zero deps.

ENTHEA (elder-plinius/ENTHEA) —
the real-time psychedelic visual synthesizer and pro-grade music visualizer.
WebGL2, single file, ZERO dependencies, no build step.

Same seed, both sides of the same fruit:

• zero dependencies, single artifact — enthea is one static binary; ENTHEA is one HTML file.
• pure — enthea: pure stdlib, pure functions (the Turing shrine in pure/); ENTHEA: from nature, through mathematics, to vision.
• the entheatic — one is the engine under the surface; the other is the vision on it.

Closing the loop

• ✅ The engine door — enthea: install everywhere (curl|sh, brew, nix, nu, ghcr), MCP servers, personas, the NAND to QUANT shrine.
• ✅ The visual synthesizer — ENTHEA: WebGL2 psychedelic visuals, zero deps.
• 🔜 The loop — make the synthesizer the entheatic visual surface of the engine: an enthea viz that serves the ENTHEA WebGL2 synthesizer, so the engine (kompress · personas · quant) and the vision (the geometry of the substrate within) live under one door.

The seed grows in both directions. From the seed to the bloom — the loop closes
when a prompt through the door comes back as light.

I suggest narrowing the first pass to a small vertical slice: "enthea viz [--addr localhost:8787]" serves a pinned snapshot of the single-file "elder-plinius/ENTHEA" synthesizer from the binary using "go:embed", opens it in the browser, and exposes an SSE endpoint using only "net/http".

For the initial loop, send one structured engine event, such as "{persona, prompt_length, quant}", and map those values deterministically onto three visual parameters. This gives us a testable path from prompt → engine state → light without requiring a complete visual protocol.

A few details should be fixed before implementation so that the path is genuinely reproducible:

• Specify the mapping as a deterministic function rather than discovering it ad hoc while wiring up the JavaScript side: which persona maps to which hue, whether "quant" scales linearly or logarithmically into intensity, and where "prompt_length" saturates. The expected visual state should be derivable from the event without running the synthesizer.

• Decide whether SSE carries one event per prompt or a continuous stream of engine ticks. That determines whether ENTHEA maintains its own animation and easing state or simply transitions whenever a new event arrives.

• Treat the embedded ENTHEA file as a deliberately pinned upstream snapshot, updated manually rather than synchronized at runtime. That preserves the single-artifact, zero-dependency distribution model and prevents upstream changes from silently altering the binary’s behavior.

That should be enough scope for a first PR: one embedded upstream snapshot, one event schema, three specified mappings, and one browser surface.
