OSRS Tracker started as a simple idea: capture the moments RuneScape players care about without making them stop playing to clip, upload, explain, or prove what happened.

That sounds easy until you run into the real work: RuneLite review, plugin hub constraints, GPU rendering, video encoding, storage costs, 117HD compatibility, performance on older machines, and the constant need to keep the client safe and stable. Every feature has to earn its place, and every shortcut has consequences.

Sponsorships make that work possible. They fund the time spent building and testing the plugin, running the infrastructure behind video clips, iterating with the RuneLite and 117HD teams, and pushing toward local 720p encoding, Vulkan GPU support, native 1:1 60 FPS capture, and eventually real-time 0 frame drop encoding.

The goal is straightforward: make the best RuneScape tracking and clipping plugin we can, keep improving it step by step, and avoid locking the best parts behind decisions that make the game worse for players.
