Frozen on launch on Debian 13 KDE Plasma

Describe the bug
Window is frozen on launch.
It loads the list and everything, but the window is completely unresponsive, and CPU usage is high.

To Reproduce
On Debian 13 Stable, works on GNOME Wayland and Xorg sessions, but freezes on KDE Plasma X11 and Wayland.

1. Install from flathub.
2. Launch.

Expected behavior
To work on Plasma X11 as it used to a few versions back.

Sorry I have no means to test this issue (No Debian 13 no KDE).

The Flatpak build comes its own libraries and "supposed to work" the issue must be with the KDE integration.

Can you try the the appimage package?

If it works then the issue must will be with the KDE Flatpak integration.

AppImage 2.20.1 also loads but the UI is unresponsive.
It's not exclusive to the Flatpak.

I'm getting these on the service logs when running the app:

xdg-desktop-portal.service

I've been able to reproduce on clean Debian installs, on a VM, if you wanna try it.

• Debian 13.5 Network Install ISO
• SDDM display manager (happens with GDM, too)
• GNOME and KDE desktop environments
• KDE Plasma session (I use X11, happens on Wayland, too).

I took a look to returned errors (I google it)

It seems that is an issue because the application is attempting to use D-Bus to communicate with the desktop, but the KDE/XDG portal backend doesn't support the specific method being called.

it says you first do

flatpak update

Google AI says: If you are running into related system issues (like long boot hangs), it can indicate a broken portal service. You can restart it via the terminal to clear the hang

systemctl --user restart xdg-desktop-portal xdg-desktop-portal-kde

Can you extract me the application logs and send them back to me by executing

RUST_LOG="debug" flatpak run  io.github.plrigaux.sysd-manager

Logs from a Plasma session, non-reponsive UI:

Both from the same VM, up-to-date, OOTB clean install.
