Launching chromium will first pop up an error message stating:
Failed to load extension from: /usr/share/chromium/extensions/ncibgoaomkmdpilpocfeponihegamlic.json. Manifest file is missing or unreadable
$ cat /usr/share/chromium/extensions/ncibgoaomkmdpilpocfeponihegamlic.json
{
"external_update_url": "https://clients2.google.com/service/update2/crx"
}
Never written a browser extension, but is it possible the manifest does not adhere to minimal valid standard?
Possibly a wrong repo for the issue. If so please point me in correct direction.
