I received the following report from Joachim in Germany:
Dear Christian, thanks for your GeneralUser GS 2.0.2 w/ documentation rev. 4 package. After installing FluidSynth engine, playing Midi files works great in terminal by manually typing fluidsynth + location of midi-file. Unfortunately on my current macOS26 Tahoe I cannot load your FluidSynth.app, system says cannot be opened and also the .fluidsynth settings in my users folder cannot be loaded. Do you think it is related to macOS26 Tahoe? I would really appreciate it, to be fixed under Tahoe, do you have any hints on this? Also looking forward, that fluidsynth is working with VLC player again on macOS, in order to use your GeneralUser GS SoundFont within VLC. Best greetings from Germany, Joachim
My only macOS device is too old to run Tahoe, so I have no way to test this. If anybody else can confirm and possibly offer suggestions, I would be much obliged.
