example could be "bun". its uses a clean zip file without a bling bling installer which is commendable. but the disadvantage of it: the whole .bun dir with massive cache of nodejs packages will not be uninstalled. |

You can set this as the default behavior in your WinGet settings file. |

Actually there are no ways to modify the uninstall behavior when you don't use an installer that has its own uninstaller (zip). WinGet only uninstalls the files from the original zip. This means even new files in an Local\Microsoft\WinGet\Packages\X__DefaultSource directory will not be removed. (+ temp files at other places)
