JAIPilot performs behavior-preserving Java maintenance against the real Maven or Gradle repository:

• Cleanup and refactoring: Removes proved-unused clutter and unnecessary complexity.
• Tests and coverage: Adds focused tests and runs configured proof tooling.
• Measured performance: Keeps only reproducible improvements.
• Compatible upgrades: Applies Java, build-tool, framework, plugin, and dependency modernization.

Net-new features, general application development, workflow changes, and auto-merge are excluded. The automatic PR mode continues to improve changed Java code without a command.

Proof before publication

JAIPilot binds the task to an immutable commit, mounts it read-only, runs the real build, locks behavior, and validates the final diff and evidence outside the agent. The agent never receives write credentials.
