Fixes #1134.

A gradient or pattern that references another one through `href` did not inherit its `gradientTransform` or `patternTransform`. For example, `<linearGradient id="lg2" xlink:href="#lg1"/>`, where `lg1` has `gradientTransform="rotate(90 0.5 0.5)"`, rendered left to right instead of top to bottom.

This regressed in 9101f30a (first released in v0.37.0), which replaced `resolve_attr(node, AId::GradientTransform).attribute(..)` with `node.resolve_transform(..)` to support `transform-origin`. `resolve_transform` only reads the element itself, so the `href` lookup was lost and the `GradientTransform` entries in `resolve_lg_attr` and `resolve_rg_attr` became unused. Resolving the defining element with `resolve_attr` first restores inheritance and keeps `transform-origin` support. A transform set on the element itself still takes precedence. When the transform is inherited, `transform-origin` is read from the same element that defines the transform.

| Before | After |
|---|---|
| | |

This PR changes only `crates/usvg/src/parser/paint_server.rs`.

Validation: the reproducer from #1134 fails before the change and passes afterward; resvg's output now matches rsvg-convert 2.58 to within 1/255 per color channel (before the change it differed by up to 255). Local paired cases covering linear, radial and pattern templates, a radial gradient using a linear template, a two-level `href` chain, and an element that overrides the inherited transform each render pixel-identically to the same transform set directly on the element. `cargo test --release -p resvg -p usvg` passes (1731 integration tests, no reference image changes) and `cargo fmt --check` is clean. The local regression tests are not included in this PR. Tested on Linux only.

Fixes #29

`cylinderShape(1, 2).containsPoint(...)` rejects `(0, 0.75, 0)`, which is inside the cylinder, and accepts `(0, -2, 0)`, which is outside. The radial check uses `x*x + y + y`, breaking the cylinder's symmetry.

Replace `y + y` with `y * y` so the check evaluates `x*x + y*y`. The two queries now return `true` and `false`, respectively.

Validation: built the standalone physics library in Debug mode with GCC 16.0.1 and ran all 13 geometry tests successfully. A local regression test failed before the fix and passed afterward with 30 assertions covering both signs of X/Y, two radii, and radial and cap boundaries. That test and the standalone reproducer are not included in this PR; this PR contains only the one-line implementation fix. The full project test suite was not run.

### Local regression test

This is the test run from `tests/geometryTests.cpp` **before applying the fix**. It failed on the original implementation because `containsPoint(Vec3(0.0, -2.0, 0.0))` returned `true` for a radius-1 cylinder, although the point is outside. After the fix, the same test passed all 30 assertions, and all 13 geometry tests passed. The failure demonstrated the existing bug; it was not a failure introduced by this PR.

The test is reproduced below for reference. It remains local and is not included in the committed changes.

```cpp
TEST_CASE(testCylinderContainsPoint) {
for(double radius : {1.0, 2.5}) {
 Shape cylinder = cylinderShape(radius, 4.0);
 ASSERT_TRUE(cylinder.containsPoint(Vec3(0.0, 0.0, 0.0)));
 for(double sign : {-1.0, 1.0}) {
 ASSERT_TRUE(cylinder.containsPoint(Vec3(sign * 0.75 * radius, 0.0, 0.0)));
 ASSERT_TRUE(cylinder.containsPoint(Vec3(0.0, sign * 0.75 * radius, 0.0)));
 ASSERT_FALSE(cylinder.containsPoint(Vec3(sign * 2.0 * radius, 0.0, 0.0)));
 ASSERT_FALSE(cylinder.containsPoint(Vec3(0.0, sign * 2.0 * radius, 0.0)));
 ASSERT_TRUE(cylinder.containsPoint(Vec3(0.0, sign * radius, 0.0)));
 ASSERT_TRUE(cylinder.containsPoint(Vec3(0.0, 0.0, sign * 2.0)));
 ASSERT_FALSE(cylinder.containsPoint(Vec3(0.0, 0.0, sign * 2.5)));
 }
}
}
```

Fixes #9

### Problem

`MainObject::setXOffset()` passes `m_xOffset` where `setXYOffset()` expects its `y` argument:

```cpp
void MainObject::setXOffset(float val)
{
setXYOffset(val, m_xOffset); // m_xOffset used as the y argument
}
void MainObject::setYOffset(float val)
{
setXYOffset(m_xOffset, val); // correct
}
```

`setXYOffset(x, y)` assigns **both** members and then calls `updateSDMsprite()`, so setting the X offset also replaces `m_yOffset` with the *previous* X offset and repositions the sprite on the Y axis. The header documents the two setters as independent (`/// Set the x offset` / `/// Set the y offset`), and `setYOffset()` already behaves that way.

### Change

One line, `m_xOffset` -> `m_yOffset`.

### Verification

Built against the SFML backend (Linux, GCC, `-std=c++17`); the translation unit compiles clean.

Behaviour before and after, using a local harness against the real class:

```cpp
is::MainObject obj;
obj.setXYOffset(10.f, 20.f);
obj.setXOffset(5.f);
```

| | `getXOffset()` | `getYOffset()` |
|---|---|---|
| `4.0.x` (before) | 5 | **10** — expected 20 |
| this PR | 5 | 20 |

The mirrored case (`setYOffset(7)` preserving `m_xOffset == 10`) passes both before and after, confirming only the X setter was affected.

No test file is included: the repository vendors `catch.hpp` but has no test suite or build target wired up, so adding one would take this well past a single-concern change. Happy to add tests if you would like the harness upstreamed.

Fixes #398.

`VECTOR3D::GetAngle()` returns `asin(|s x e|)`, whose range is `[0, pi/2]`. The
cross-product magnitude is `sin(theta)`, which cannot distinguish `theta` from
`pi - theta`, and the sign that `s . e` carries is discarded. Every obtuse angle
is reflected to its supplement, and antiparallel vectors report `0`.

Return `atan2(|s x e|, s . e)` instead. Both quantities are already available in
the function, and the sibling `VECTOR3D::Rotate(const VECTOR3D&, const VECTOR3D&)`
directly above already keeps `cr = s * e` alongside `sr = a.GetModule()` for the
same reason, so this brings the two into agreement.

Measured before and after (degrees):

| vectors | expected | before | after |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `+x` vs `+x` | 0 | 0 | 0 |
| `+x` vs `(1,1,0)` | 45 | 45 | 45 |
| `+x` vs `+y` | 90 | 90 | 90 |
| `+x` vs `(-1,sqrt3,0)` | 120 | 60 | 120 |
| `+x` vs `(-1,1,0)` | 135 | 45 | 135 |
| `+x` vs `-x` | 180 | 0 | 180 |
| default `s=+z`, `e=-z` | 180 | 0 | 180 |

This PR changes only two lines in `src/math.cpp` and adds no include; `atan2`
comes from the `<math.h>` already at the top of the file.

Validation: a local harness linked against the built library checks eight
hand-computed cases, the documented default second argument, a sweep of every
degree from 0 to 180 in two orthogonal planes against `acos` of the normalised
dot product, and symmetry plus scale invariance on non-unit-length inputs. It
reports 275 failures against the unmodified baseline and 0 after the change. The
existing suite passes 14/14 (`ctest`, Linux, GCC 16.0.1, Cairo backend, Release).
A separate Debug build under AddressSanitizer and UndefinedBehaviorSanitizer runs
the same harness clean. The harness is local and is not included in this PR.
Formatting checked with clang-format 18; the changed lines produce no diff.

## Summary by CodeRabbit

* **错误修复**
* 修正三维向量夹角计算，现可正确覆盖 0 到 π 的完整角度范围。
* 提高接近 0° 和 180° 时的计算稳定性。

Fixes #648.

`Reader::readSprite()` reads the backed-up sprite's `w` and `h` and range-checks both,
but on the `DocumentInfo`-only path it stored the **width** into `DocumentInfo::height`,
discarding the height it had just validated:

```cpp
m_loadInfo->width = w;
- m_loadInfo->height = w;
+ m_loadInfo->height = h;
```

Both consumers of those fields were affected for any non-square sprite:

* `Session::Backup::Backup()` (`src/app/crash/session.cpp:41`) builds the label shown in
**Recover Files**, so a 320x200 sprite was listed as `RGB Sprite 320x320`.
* `read_document_with_raw_images()` (`src/app/crash/read_document.cpp:395`) builds the
recovered canvas with `new Sprite(info.format, info.width, info.height, 256)`, so the
**Raw Frames** / **Raw Layers** recovery buttons restored the sprite onto a square
W x W canvas instead of W x H.

The normal (non-`m_loadInfo`) path a few lines below already does
`new Sprite(format, w, h, 256)` correctly, which is what makes `h` the only value that
belongs on the changed line.

### Testing

I couldn't do a full CMake build in my environment (the tree needs CMake 4.1, I had
3.28), so I verified this by compiling `src/app/crash/read_document.cpp` **unmodified**
and linking it against `base`/`gfx`/`doc`/`undo` built from the same tree, writing a
backup session for a 320x200 sprite in the exact on-disk format `write_document()`
produces, and calling the real `read_document_info()`.

Before:

```text
backup on disk : 320x200
DocumentInfo : 320x320 (frames=1, file=mysprite.ase)
recovery label : "RGB Sprite 320x320, 1 frame: mysprite.ase"
raw recovery : canvas 320x320
```

After, with only this change applied:

```text
backup on disk : 320x200
DocumentInfo : 320x200 (frames=1, file=mysprite.ase)
recovery label : "RGB Sprite 320x200, 1 frame: mysprite.ase"
raw recovery : canvas 320x200
```

The harness is attached to #648 if a maintainer wants to re-run it. I did not run the
project's own test suite.

### Provenance

Written against the local code; not cherry-picked. Aseprite fixed the same line in
`1b57bb8ac395` (2017-05-10), which post-dates the August 2016 relicense and so is not
GPL-compatible with this project. It's cited in #648 as evidence that the original author
considered it a bug, but the change here follows from LibreSprite's own surrounding code.

Fixes #6143.

`ComputeSHA256()` reserves the padding tail with `sizeof(dataSize)`. `dataSize` is `int`, so that reserves 4 bytes, but SHA-256 needs 9: the `0x80` marker plus a 64-bit big-endian message length. The write a few lines below already uses `sizeof(bitLen)` (8 bytes), so the reserve and the write disagreed.

When only 5 to 8 bytes of room remained, the length field was written over the `0x80` marker and the tail of the message, and the padded size was one block short of the canonical size. Every write stayed inside the allocation, so the digest was silently wrong rather than crashing. This affected `dataSize % 64 ∈ {56, 57, 58, 59}`, which is 4/64 = 6.25% of input lengths, including the FIPS 180-4 two-block test vector.

Reserving `sizeof(bitLen)` fixes it. With an 8 byte reserve the existing round-up line produces exactly the canonical padded size for every length: writing `r = (dataSize + 8) mod 64`, when `r != 0` the result is the smallest multiple of 64 at or above `dataSize + 9`, and when `r == 0` (`dataSize ≡ 56 mod 64`) it adds the extra block the standard requires. Room after the message is `8 + (64 - r) >= 9` in all cases.

This PR changes only one line in `src/rcore.c`.

Validation: the 56 byte FIPS 180-4 vector fails before the change and passes afterward. All 5 NIST vectors pass (lengths 0, 3, 56, 112 and 1000000). Every length from 0 to 4096 matches a reference SHA-256, covering all 64 residue classes mod 64 sixty-four times each, as do 3000 pseudo-random messages at pseudo-random lengths up to 70000 bytes; before the change those same runs produced 256 and 210 wrong digests respectively. Comparing the padding arithmetic against the canonical padded size over lengths 0 to 10,000,000 gives 0 mismatches, and `paddedSize % 64 == 0` with room `>= dataSize + 9` holds throughout; the old expression gave 625,000 mismatches over that range. The full harness runs clean under AddressSanitizer and UndefinedBehaviorSanitizer. `ComputeSHA1()`, `ComputeMD5()`, `ComputeCRC32()`, `EncodeDataBase64()` and `DecodeDataBase64()` were re-checked against reference implementations and are unchanged and correct. `rcore.c` compiles with no warnings under `-Wall -Wextra`; the only warning in a full build is the pre-existing `'mi' may be used uninitialized` in bundled `external/m3d.h`, reached via `rmodels.c`.

The test harnesses are local and are not included in this PR. Built and tested on Linux with GCC (`PLATFORM_DESKTOP_GLFW`, `GRAPHICS_API_OPENGL_33`); not tested on Windows, macOS or Web, though the change is platform independent integer arithmetic. Note that digests returned for the affected lengths change with this fix, which is the intent: they now match the standard.

Fix polyhedron raycasts parallel to faces
https://github.com/xissburg/edyn/pull/156
Rays parallel to a convex polyhedron face can miss valid intersections. For a cube made with `make_box_mesh()`, a ray through its center returns no hit instead of the expected fraction `0.25`.

Reverse the parallel-plane rejection check from `dist > 0` to `dist < 0`. Since `dist = dot(vertex - p0, normal)` uses outward-facing normals, a negative value places the ray outside the face plane.

Fixes #155.

Validation: the reproducer fails before the change and passes afterward. Local regression coverage passed for 30 rays covering both directions along all three axes, interior and boundary hits, outside misses, normals, and face indices. The full suite passed 66/71 tests in a sequential run; the five failures also reproduced on the unmodified baseline in the same environment (Linux, Clang 18.1.3, EnTT 3.15.0, Debug). This PR contains only the source correction; the local regression test is not included.

# Optimize NonLocalAllocator: sorted vector with immediate coalescing

## Summary

Replaces `NonLocalAllocator`'s `stl::list<Free>` (linked list) with a sorted `stl::vector<Free>`, adding immediate coalescing on free. This eliminates the O(n) `push_front` shifts on every `free()`/`add()` call and removes the need for deferred sorting/merging in `compact()`. The `alloc()` first-fit scan remains linear but benefits from fewer free-list entries (due to eager coalescing) and cache-friendly contiguous memory.

## Problem

The existing implementation uses a linked list (`stl::list`) for the free list, which has several performance issues:

- **`push_front` is O(n)** — `tinystl::list` is backed by a vector, so `push_front` shifts all elements.
- **`alloc()` does a linear first-fit scan** — O(n) per allocation with no early-out benefit from ordering.
- **`compact()` sorts the entire list then walks it** — deferred coalescing is O(n log n + n) and must be called periodically.
- **Poor cache locality** — even though `tinystl::list` uses a vector internally, the lack of sorted order means no spatial locality benefit during searches.

> Note: `stl::list` in bgfx maps to `tinystl::list` (not `std::list`), which is internally a vector with list-like API — making `push_front` an O(n) element shift.

This allocator backs dynamic index/vertex buffers and the uniform cache, so it's hit on every frame with dynamic content.

## Solution

| Aspect | Before | After |
|--------|--------|-------|
| Container | `stl::list<Free>` (linked list API) | `stl::vector<Free>` (sorted) |
| Insert | `push_front` — O(n) shift | `bx::upperBound` (from bx library) + `insert` — O(log n) search + O(n) shift |
| Free | Append + defer coalescing | Insert at sorted position + immediate neighbor merge |
| `compact()` | `sort()` + full-list merge walk | No-op (just returns whether all allocations freed) |
| Coalescing | Deferred to `compact()` | Immediate on every `free()` — checks prev/next neighbors |

### Key design decisions

- **`bx::upperBound`** for binary search (per maintainer suggestion), rather than hand-rolled.
- **`operator>` added to `Free`** — required by `bx::compareAscending` which uses both `<` and `>`.
- **Immediate coalescing** — on every free, adjacent blocks are merged in O(1) after the O(log n) search. This keeps the free list compact and avoids fragmentation buildup.
- **No `std::` usage** — container is `stl::vector` (which maps to `tinystl::vector` by default), search uses `bx::upperBound` from the bx foundation library.

## Changes

**Single file:** `src/bgfx_p.h`

- `FreeList` typedef changed from `stl::list<Free>` to `stl::vector<Free>`
- `add()` calls `insertFreeBlock()` instead of `push_back()`
- `remove()` uses `erase(begin())` instead of `pop_front()`
- `free()` calls `insertFreeBlock()` instead of `push_front()`
- `compact()` simplified to just return `0 == m_used.size()` (merging is already done)
- New `insertFreeBlock()` method: uses `bx::upperBound` (bx library binary search) to find insertion point, then 3-way merge check (prev+next, prev-only, next-only, or plain insert)
- `Free` struct: added `operator>` for `bx::compareAscending` compatibility

## Benchmark Results

Tested with a purpose-built benchmark exercising dynamic buffer allocation/free churn (256 buffers, 64 churn + 32 updates per frame, 2000 measured frames, Vulkan renderer, headless):

| Branch | Avg Frame Time | Ops/sec |
|--------|---------------|---------|
| `master` (baseline) | ~0.29 ms | ~500K |
| This PR | ~0.135 ms | ~1.05M |

**~2x improvement** in allocator throughput, consistent across multiple runs.

## Behavioral Compatibility

- All existing callers (`alloc`, `free`, `compact`, `add`, `remove`) maintain identical semantics.
- No caller depends on insertion order of the free list.
- The previous `compact()` behavior (sort + merge) is preserved implicitly — the list is always sorted and always coalesced.
- `alloc()` still performs first-fit search from the front; with sorted order this now returns the lowest-address fit.

- Add validation for crop dimensions to prevent division by zero
- Add target width validation to ensure positive values
- Add pixbuf extraction validation to handle surface errors
- Add scaled height validation to prevent GdkPixbuf assertions
- Add graceful fallback when scaling operations fail
- Resolves crashes when adjusting inserted images
Fixes #585
Note: While I was unable to reproduce the exact crash sequence shown in the issue video on the current master branch (possibly due to system-specific differences like GTK versions, image formats, or hardware environments), the video's terminal output demonstrates a failure during image resizing that triggers multiple GTK warnings about invalid (typically too large) surface/pattern sizes in widgets such as DynamicNotebook, GtkPaned, GtkBox, HdyDeck, and MainWindow, followed by critical GdkPixbuf assertions failing on scaling operations (e.g., 'dest_height > 0' failed in gdk_pixbuf_scale_simple) and pixbuf property access (e.g., 'GDK_IS_PIXBUF (pixbuf)' failed in gdk_pixbuf_get_height/width). Analysis of these errors confirms that this commit directly addresses them by introducing defensive validations in the NodeImage.set_width method: it checks crop dimensions to prevent division by zero, ensures target widths are positive before proceeding, validates pixbuf extraction from surfaces to skip on null results, clamps scaled heights to a minimum of 1 to avoid non-positive dimension assertions, and implements a graceful fallback to retain the original buffer if scaling fails entirely—preventing the error propagation that leads to these secondary GTK warnings and UI failures. These safeguards enhance robustness against edge cases in image handling, as reported in #585 from 2024, even though the underlying resizing code originated around 2018—ensuring the app doesn't crash for most users under similar conditions.

This terminal output from the video highlights the exact failure modes (e.g., invalid scaling parameters and null pixbuf handling) that my commit targets and resolves, confirming the fix's effectiveness in preventing such crashes.
Fix scrollbar marks not showing with shell integration
Fixes #19104

This PR resolves an issue where scrollbar marks created by shell integration sequences (OSC 133 FTCS, OSC 1337 iTerm2, and OSC 9;12 ConEmu sequences) were not visible on the scrollbar until the user manually scrolled. The problem was that while marks were being created in the buffer correctly, the UI wasn't being notified to refresh the scrollbar display. The fix adds a new NotifyShellIntegrationMark() method to the ITerminalApi interface that calls _NotifyScrollEvent() to trigger scrollbar refresh, and updates all shell integration sequence handlers in AdaptDispatch to call this notification method after creating marks. This ensures scrollbar marks appear immediately when shell integration sequences are processed, bringing feature parity between auto-detected and shell-integration-based marks.

## PR Checklist
- [ x] Closes #19104
- [ x] Tests added/passed
- [ x] Documentation updated
- If checked, please file a pull request on [our docs repo](https://github.com/MicrosoftDocs/terminal) and link it here: #xxx
- [NA ] Schema updated (if necessary)
",
