I am using JuiceFS (S3 via Wasabi Singapore) for an architectural studio with 10 concurrent users. We are facing an issue where some files are successfully uploaded and visible on the JuiceFS Web Console, but they do not appear in the mounted S: drive on Windows client PCs.
This happens selectively—some files in a directory are visible, while others are missing until a service restart or a long delay occurs.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
User A copies/saves a .dwg or .pdf file to the mount.
Verify the file exists on the Web Console (it does).
User B checks the same folder in Windows Explorer; the file is missing.
Manual refresh (F5) does not always resolve the issue.
Mount Command & Environment
OS: Windows 11
JuiceFS Version: 5.3.7
Mount Arguments:
mount <FS_NAME> S: --token --cache-dir "C:\cache" --cache-size 10240 --winfsp-threads=16 --max-readahead=128 --attr-cache 1 --entry-cache 1 --dir-cache 1
(Note: --writeback is disabled to ensure synchronous writes)
Expected behavior
With --attr-cache 1 --entry-cache 1 --dir-cache 1, we expect the file list to be updated on all clients within a few seconds of the metadata being committed to the engine.
