How does one create themes in ltx-talk

New here, but I was wondering if there are examples on how to create a theme in ltx-talk, similar to the case for beamer?

At present no, and the likely longer-term vision is different from beamer. We are using (kernel) templates, so the natural way to change the design is

• Expose and document the template keys
• Provide alternative templates that can be swapped in for larger changes

That means I'd expect to see use of \EditTemplate or \EditInstance in an ltx-talk source, which will over time become more familiar to LaTeX users generally.

I really don't like the idea of colour themes, at least in the core of the class: this is always subjective and best to let people pick their own colours.

Very sorry for the extremely basic question but would you be able to give me a simple example of how to e.g. change the font color for frame titles, to illustrate how this kind of thing works?

@maitra To get the same functionality of beamer themes, you can bundle all the modifications made with \EditTemplate, \EditInstance etc. in a normal latex package.

Please don't look too closely at the code (it is probably horrible, I'm still in the learning phase of expl3), but I've done something similar in https://github.com/samcarter/beamertheme-spectrum/blob/main/talkthemespectrum.sty
