Best solution for creating a digital photo frame?

Hi, the iPad I’m using as a photo frame with ImmichFrame is almost dead (it was really old).
I want to create a new display for ImmichFrame. I also have a spare Pi4. What are your suggestions? I’m thinking about buying an lcd pane and using the Pi4 but I’m open to other ideas! Thanks.

I have a raspberry pi 5 and the 7" touchscreen but honestly never use it. Also have a Frameo but the performance isn't great. I have been using an ipad 6th gen mainly and it works really well.
