DOI links are generated as relative URLs in bibliography

Hi,

I'm using Quarkdown's bibliography feature with a .bib file.

For example, my BibTeX entry contains:

doi = {10.1109/ICRA46639.2022.9812329}

When viewing the document in Quarkdown's preview mode, the generated bibliography contains a link whose href is:

href="10.1109/ICRA46639.2022.9812329"

Since this is a relative URL, the browser resolves it against Quarkdown's local preview server (http://localhost:8089/), resulting in:

http://localhost:8089/10.1109/ICRA46639.2022.9812329

I would have expected the DOI link to be an absolute DOI URL, for example:

https://doi.org/10.1109/ICRA46639.2022.9812329

Is this the expected behavior, or is there a configuration or CSL setting that I may have missed?

The original doi field in the .bib file is just the DOI identifier, which I believe is the usual BibTeX format.

Do DOI links always point to doi.org?

My understanding is that the DOI should generally be rendered as an absolute DOI URL,

most commonly using the https://doi.org/ resolver, for example:

https://doi.org/10.1109/ICRA46639.2022.9812329

I've opened an issue to track this: #657
