About alignments

Hello, I have several questions regarding this great tool:

I copied and pasted this code:

I have two columns, but the text is not centered within their respective positions.

2. I've explored the documentation, but I couldn't find a solution for this case:

Is there a way to align the lines to the right?

Brief explanation: Quarkdown relies on the concept of HTML blocks to arrange the layout. In Markdown (and Quarkdown), these are two blocks:

Hello

World

While this is a single one:

Hello
World

The reason why I used .column rather than .align is because .column gets rid of the default spacing around blocks, and can be configured from the gap parameter.

I have some additional questions, such as:

• I have seen examples of PDFs with page numbering in Roman numerals (I, II, etc.). However, I couldn't find anything about this in the documentation.
• Is it possible to modify the design of admonitions in a PDF?
  I believe this is possible, but once again, I didn't find anything in the documentation.
• I have files with Pandoc (tables) that I need to "transform" in order to convert my books to Quarkdown. Is there planned compatibility with Pandoc (the additional Markdown syntaxes offered by Pandoc)? Alternatively, if that's not the case, can I create tables in LaTeX format to achieve the same result?

I have several books that I would like to convert from Pandoc to Quarkdown. If I can help improve the documentation or anything else, I would be delighted to do so.

Hi @PhareObscur

1. Roman numerals are supported in element numbering (sections, figures, tables, etc.) via .numbering. They are not currently supported in page counters.
2. Quarkdown's biggest limitation is full customization. There are themes that offer different layouts, but a future big milestone will be customizing many elements via native Quarkdown code. That being said, Quarkdown's output is web-based (even in PDF), thus you can virtually customize everything via CSS thanks to the .css function.
3. No official compatibility is planned. You can create complex tables in HTML via .html (same reason as above).
