Positioning Marker Icon: i want the bottom of the icon to be at the mark, not the center

Hello and thank you for this software,

I am placing a Marker with the Icons.location_pin icon at location (x,y). I think it is reasonable to want that the pin of the icon (that is the pin (the "spear") at the bottom-center of the icon) be placed exactly at (x,y). But I can not achieve this.

With the following code I can center the icon on the (x,y) marker position. But it seems it ignores my request when I "cheat" on the width and height specified in Marker options (see the commented line):

Hey @hadjiprocopis! I think you're looking for Marker.alignment.

Great, that works thank you. I admit I only googled instead of reading the manual. However, in order to make the pin go exactly where my mouse pointer was I had to make height: 110 instead of 125. Perhaps the icon has padding. Oh well, not a problem. Btw, i think a typo in the manual: at https://docs.fleaflet.dev/layers/marker-layer#rotation (s/alignment/rotation/). THANK YOU again.
