Compatibility Check: Support for LG UltraGear OLED (27GX700A / 27GX704A)

Hello.Does Monitorian support LG UltraGear OLED monitors, models 27GX700A and 27GX704A?I want to know if this app can change the brightness on these specific models.Thank you.

You seem to have a misunderstanding. This app is designed to work with DDC/CI compatible monitors in the case of external monitors. It is not about whether it supports specific models or not. Whether it works with a monitor or not depends on how faithfully that monitor complies with DDC/CI standards.

That said, I don't think I have heard much about compatibility issues with LG monitors.

Thank you very much, this was really important for me before buying this monitor. Last year I bought the LG OLED 27GX704A, but I returned it because Monitorian didn’t work with it. I’ve become very привык (used to) this program because of its simplicity and ease of use. Thank you so much for your help!

I have not heard about the case of 27GX704A, but have you identified it was due to that monitor? There could be other factors.

Я ничего не слышал о случае с монитором 27GX704A, но вы определили, что причиной была именно эта модель? Могут быть и другие факторы.

I bought an Lg 27gx700a that doesn't work on it, apparently LG has limited this feature

Thank you very much for your help, I really appreciate it. I bought this monitor at launch, tried different cables, and tested various versions of Monitorian. I’ll try ordering it again and will report back whether it works or not. ср, 8 июл. 2026 г. в 18:35, emoacht ***@***.***>:
