HireWay: exploring Australian career paths with Workers and D1

Sharing HireWay, a career explorer using Australian open labour-market data. The idea is to start with your education and current skills, compare occupations, and see which skills to work on for a target role.

It runs a React/Vite frontend on Workers Static Assets, with a Worker API and D1 for the career catalogue and profiles. In the Worker, public catalogue queries use Cache-Control: public, max-age=3600, while other API responses use no-store.

There's no account signup. A recovery code lets you return to a saved profile. The career card on the homepage is an illustrative preview.
