I would like to express my strong support for this feature request. As a developer who frequently uses Cloudflare Workers, I often need to iterate quickly on code snippets. While the desktop experience is generally smooth, the mobile editor currently has a significant usability gap — the inability to “Select All” or quickly clear the editor on phones and tablets is a real productivity bottleneck. The current workarounds (deleting character by character, or deleting and recreating the entire Worker) are not just inconvenient — they actively discourage mobile-based development and testing. For a platform that prides itself on developer experience, this feels like an oversight that should be addressed. A dedicated “Clear Code” button, placed in the toolbar or a prominent location, with a simple confirmation dialog, would be a straightforward and low-cost implementation that delivers outsized value. It would: Save significant time for developers testing multiple snippets on mobile I hope the team will consider this improvement. Thank you for listening to the community! |

Problem Description:
When using the Cloudflare Workers online editor on mobile devices (phones or tablets), it is not possible to use Ctrl+A to select all text as on a desktop. Additionally, long-pressing or double‑tapping the cursor area on mobile does not bring up options like "Select All" or "Copy". This makes it extremely difficult to clear all code from the editor. Currently, the only ways are to delete characters one by one or delete the entire Worker and start over, which severely impacts development efficiency.
Suggested Feature:
I would like to request a "Clear Code" button (similar to a "Clear" or "Empty" function) be added to the toolbar or the top‑right corner of the Workers editor. When clicked, it could show a confirmation dialog, and upon confirmation, it would instantly clear all code, allowing for quick rebuilds or modifications.
Use Case:
When I am quickly testing different code snippets on a mobile device, I frequently need to clear the editor. Having a clear button would greatly improve the user experience.
I hope the Cloudflare team will consider this improvement. Thank you!
