2x a Week Chore

I have a chore I want my kid to do 2 times a week but I don't care what days he does it on. However, I also don't want to give him any credit/points unless he does it both times. What is the best way to set this up? I was thinking of setting up a chore and a periodic badge for this but wonder if there is an easier way.

Note -- Downside to this approach is if he does it more than twice he doesn't get extra credit since the Chore itself has no point value. I guess I could create two extra badges for 3 and 4 completions that would have the incremental point value. But... that's a lot of badges to clutter up the screen. I guess I could hide them.

Chore Setup:

• Name = Practice
• Schedule Frequency = Daily
• Schedule Due Date = Null
• Schedule Applicable Days = Null
• Due Window = 0
• Lock Claim Until Due Window Opens = false
• Approval Reset Timing = Once per day - Resets at midnight
• Points Awarded = 0

Periodic Badge Setup

• Target Type = Chore Count
• Threshold Value = 2
• Tracked Chores = Practice
• Points Awarded = 10
• Reset Cycle = Weekly
• Reset Cycle End Date = [Next Sunday]

The badge could work, but you might consider this to keep it all in chores which can make it more dynamic and allow for more completions.

• Create 2 chores, practice A and practice B
• Practice A - 0 point value due on recurring due weekly or some schedule
• Practice B - 20 points but no due date, no recurrence and not assigned to kid. Essentially hidden
• Create an automation that triggers when Practice A is completed that will assign the practice B chore to the kid. (Use update chore service) You can decide if you want to add a specific due date like 1-3 days from this trigger or Friday, etc. Once this chore is completed, the midnight reset will strip the due date and return this chore to pending
• Create another automation that triggers when practice b is assigned to kid but missing a due date. Automation will unassign kid from practice B and potentially set a new due date for Practice A to start the process over.
