Recurring Achievement

Is there a way to have an Achievement reset or be recurring (or a challenge)? For example, I'd like to have one where my kids get bonus points when they complete 20 chores. Once they do that, they get the bonus points and the achievement counter resets to zero. Is this possible? If not, is there a way to manually reset the achievement counter? Or, do I need to create an entirely new achievement every time?

Achievements don't have that functionality today. That said, periodic badges have extensive functionality, and you should be able to find some options that work better for you.

I'm looking at badges now. Unfortunately, it looks like the reset functionality is only time based (Weekly, etc). Would be awesome to have the ability to reset the badge upon completion regardless of the timeframe it takes to complete the badge.

The one good thing about ChoreOps is that the data as well as rich set of services are available for custom automations.

For instance, you could use an achievement as you originally intended, then setup a custom home assistant automation that will trigger when the achievement is met. That automation could then run the service to reset transactional data for this specific achievement which would then reset it to zero and restart the process.

I'd recommend doing some testing on this to make sure it's behaving as you expect, and be careful with the reset transactional data to make sure you limit it down to only the achievement you want to change since it can be destructive to your other ChoreOps data if you don't set it up correctly.
