We want participation in MiSTer Media Player to be constructive, technical, and welcoming. Contributors and maintainers are expected to treat one another with respect regardless of experience level, background, identity, or viewpoint.
Examples of positive participation include:
- discussing technical disagreements with evidence and without personal attacks;
- giving specific, actionable review feedback;
- acknowledging uncertainty when hardware behavior or standards interpretation is not yet proven;
- respecting licensing, attribution, and redistribution constraints;
- keeping issue and pull-request discussions focused on the project.
Harassment, threats, discriminatory language, sexualized attention, sustained personal attacks, deliberate disruption, doxxing, or publication of another person's private information are not acceptable.
Project maintainers may edit, hide, or remove comments, issues, pull requests, or other contributions that violate these expectations, and may restrict participation when necessary.
To report conduct concerns privately, contact the repository owner through the contact method listed on the owner's GitHub profile. Reports will be handled as privately as practical.
This policy applies in project-managed spaces including repository issues, pull requests, discussions, code review, and other official project communication channels.
