All programming assignments in this course use C++. You'll set up your programming infrastructure and get a brief introduction to the language in your first lab, but if you'd like a more thorough, principled walkthrough of the language beforehand, this optional recorded tutorial series covers the parts of C++ this course actually uses — and the typical "gotchas" that trip people up. (Recommended playback speed: 1.5x.)
